MALADIERE
located above thermal spa waters, its name comes from "maladrerie",
the place where people undergoing treatment
were having a rest.
Well exposed to the sun , we produce a wine with a fine body with an excellent red colour
with a pleasant bouquet of red fruits with a presence of tanins and a hint of vanilla.
If you were "Malade Hier" (ill
yesterday) , this SANTENAY gave you good health.
For the estate it is a significant plot
since it took 7 generations to bring together the 12 acres On a slope perfectly exposed to
the sun this variety produces a very delicate violet scented wine that gives , with age, a
high-class bouquet. It will accompany both white and red roasted meats with dignity |

slope of the small valley (Comme) perfectly oriented produces a nervy, rich, powerful and
cherry-scented red wine. Can be kept for a long time.

"Clos" (area enclosed by a wall) of nearly 4 acres adjoins the premises of our
estate (Domaine). It gives a very hardy wine which refines with age.

rarity! This vineyard, planted with Chardonnay, produces an exellent white Santenay first
growth and rivals numerous famous growths of the so-called "Côte des Blancs"
(where the finest white wines are produced such as Meursault, Puligny- Montrachet, etc.).
Best served with Foie gras.

wine which formely belonged to the Heirs Duvault-Blochet is planted with the Chardonnay
grape-variety. This richly perfumed wine with its overtones of roasted hazelnut goes well
